It is intended for an individual or group power supply of low-voltage halogen lamps in general purpose lamps with total capacity up to 50 W instead of traditional electromagnetic transformers.
The transformer is a small-sized electronic block; it is designed as a printed-circuit-board, using high-frequency oscillator circuit as basis.
The printed-circuit-board has clipses for connection to external circuits through wires up to 1.5 ìì2 in diameter. The printed-circuit-board is placed into a protective metal case, which is also used for fastening the transformer to various constructions.
Level of the radio noise of operating device meets requirements of ÃÎÑÒ 21177.
Climatic modification according to ÃÎÑÒ 15150 - ÓÕË, category of accommodation 4.2.
Advantages, comparing to traditional electromagnetic transformers:
- Double reduction of internal power losses;
- Reduced dimensions and weight of power supply units;
- Increased service life of halogen lamps;
- Reduced contents of scarce metals (electrotechnical steel and copper)
