Electronic inverters have a number of advantages in comparison with traditional electromagnetic starter devices and transformers:
- 20 % economy of the electric power in comparison with power supply of luminescent lamps, using traditional electromagnetic starter devices;
- Increased capacity factor (cos φ) due to exclusion of wattless power, used for magnetization;
- Silent operation due to transformation of working frequencies (more than 20 kHz);
- Increased efficiency (up to 10 %), exclusion of luminescent lamps light blinking due to usage of high frequency current power supply (more than 20 kHz);
- 20 % increased service life of luminescent lamps, due to application of operating control;
- Exclusion of stroboscopic effect on rotating details of machines and mechanisms.
