Pulse-voltage voltmeter B4-24/1

The voltmeter is designed for measuring amplitude and instantaneous voltage values of recurrent and single pulse and pulse-modulated signals, and alternating signals of both harmonic and heavily distorted waveform, with simultaneous measurement of amplitude and time parameters DC voltages of both polarities.

The distinctive feature of the instrument is a wide bandwidth of 700 MHz at high accuracy (basic error 0.5 %) and speed of measurements up to 10⁵ measurements per second.

The instrument can be used as a high-speed analog-to-digital converter and signal digitizer, and, if used in team with an external display, as a wide- and digital-readout oscilloscope making it possible to measure the amplitude and time parameters of a signal with high accuracy.

A wide dynamic voltage measurement range (from 1 mV to 1,000 V) is provided by a sampling probe with slip-on scale-of-10, scale-of-100 dividers, and by an external scaling amplifier featuring electronic measurement range switching completed with slip-on scale-of-10 divider. All these accessories come with the instrument.

The microprocessor, built in the instrument, controls the operating modes of the instrument when they are set from the front panel and via the CUC interface, provides self-diagnostics of the instrument.

The computing functions performed by the microprocessor are characteristic of fast-acting voltmeters.

In addition to the absolute values, measurements are also made in per cent and decibels relative to the level being set, the results are averaged per the selected number of measurements, extreme values, duration and other pulse parameters are determined. The instrument can be used under severe operating conditions.
